I was invited to an event where a great local band, This Old Pistol, would be playing this last Saturday.
I was able to take a few pictures of the band during their set. Having never photographed a band during a concert, I was excited to give it a shot.
I seriously suggest that any Alternative/Punk music lover, or any music lover in general give this band a listen. You won't be dissapointed.

Linh Le Beauty Shoot

I had the pleasure of shooting with Model Linh Le this past Friday. Our concept was clean beauty shots, and some more complicated 'geisha' type makeup.
Christina, the makeup artist did such an amazing job using the colors of Linh's outfits as inspiration for her makeup.
Linh has such a gorgeous smile, I had to get a few shots of her smiling.
The yellow hat is one I just recently bought to use as a prop for shoots and I was so happy to see how well it photographed.

Britt Steele Fashion Shoot

Collaboration between Britt Steele Boutique, Core Dance Collective, and myself.
My aim was to bring together fashion and movement using Britt Steele's gorgeous dresses and the beauty of comtemporary dance.
Shots are in post-processing, I will post them soon.

Pictures will also be displayed at Britt Steele's Boutique for the Second Saturday Art Walk in Mid-town Sacramento.

Beauty with Beckysue- Chan

Two weeks ago, I had a beauty session with model Beckysue- Chan (http://www.modelmayhem.com/495069) A gorgeous and very talented model out of Fairfield, Ca. The concept was clean beauty for the first shots, and from there we moved on to an Autumn theme. The Make-up artist Caitlin (http://www.modelmayhem.com/311047) used leaves and some beautiful neutral colors to bring out our theme.

Beauty with Aly S.

I finished a beauty portrait session with model Aly S. (http://www.modelmayhem.com/810452)
and the wonderful makeup artist Julienne Moore (http://www.modelmayhem.com/726018)
I am more happy with the results than I could ever be. We used a rose straight out of my garden as eye lashes and facial ornaments, and the color complimented the tone of Aly's skin very well.
The second shot is going to be my trademark image for a long time, I can feel it.
